"I believe that Modern Medicine's treatments for disease are seldom effective, and that they're often more dangerous than the diseases they're designed to treat."
~Robert S. Mendelsohn, M.D., Author
Confessions of a Medical Heretic
While humanity has suffered throughout the ages for various reasons, we now live in times where unspeakable damage can be done like never before. Problems in every area of life escalate before us - a crumbling healthcare system, pollution, a rise in the police state, prison overcrowding, increased taxation, never-ending wars, world hunger, energy scarcity – the list is long. But the unintended consequences of laws and government interventions can be as damaging to society as the side effects of medications can be to patients.
The only sustainable, long-term solution to any problem is to find and address its ROOT CAUSE.
Few have the skill to delve deeply enough to find the root of a problem - especially one that causes human suffering. The book, Ninety-Nine Percent, explains the fundamental cause of what ails us. It has nothing to do with capitalism or socialism; politicians or lobbyists; republicans or democrats; Judaeo-Christianity or Islam. Sure, corrupt leaders of powerful institutions can and do reek havoc. But a deeper problem lurks beneath.
The root cause of virtually all societal problems is related to the way we've been conditioned to think - almost ALL OF US.
Very few of us know how to look past the obvious to recognize the subliminal. Fewer yet know how to convey this knowledge. Author, Don Cooper, brilliantly does both by getting right to the point with simple language, humor, passion, and practical examples.
Even though at this time the book is not polished or slick, I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say his book contains blockbuster material.
Readers who are not familiar with the philosophy of voluntarism will be enlightened. Those who are will gain clarity.
